Alison Turner

Position: Director and Nursery Manager
Qualifications: BA Education, Foundation Degree in Primary Education, CPQS, NNEB, Senco Trained, First Aid, Designated Safeguarding Officer, Enhanced DBS Certificate

Alison brings a wealth of experience to Sunrise Nursery, starting her childcare career in 1983. With experience in both private and public sectors, including a nursery school in Tower Hamlets, Alison's passion lies in creating engaging outdoor activities for the children. She established Sunrise Nursery in 2004 alongside Broomfield Primary School.

Elaine Elphinstone

Position: Director, Financial Controller and Administrator

Elaine manages the administrative side of Sunrise Nursery, ensuring smooth operations. Since co-founding the nursery in 2004, Elaine has been dedicated to creating a family-like atmosphere with a professional approach. Her responsibilities include recruitment, invoicing, budgeting, payroll, registration, and the day-to-day running of the business. She also holds an Enhanced DBS Certificate.

Our team of dedicated Early Years Practitioners are passionate about providing exceptional care for your children. Each member is carefully selected and undergoes thorough vetting, including reference checks and annual DBS checks. We are proud to have a team of qualified and experienced professionals.
